Antonio de Carli

Antonio de Carli is a Roman Catholic priest that was reported missing after flying off under hundreds of helium party balloons in Brazil. Rescuers is fishing boats and helicopters were searching for him on April 21, 2008 when they found pieces of balloon coast of Santa Catarina state.
On April 20, 2008, de Carli lifted off wearing a helmet, thermal suit and a parachute. He wanted to break the record of 19 hours flying by balloons to raise money for a spiritual rest-stop for truckers. The winds pushed him in a different direction that he intended to go and went thirty miles off the coast. di Carli is an experienced skydiver and supposedly already prepared for any kind of mishaps.
Eight hours after taking off, de Carli was reported missing.
